Detailed Procedure
First go and buy the types of popcorn you would want.
Then go to a place where you can use a microwave for the experiment.
Then see how many kernels are in the bag.
Pop each bag for the same amount of time and temperature.
Once that is done, count how many kernels did pop.
Finally record the data.

Data Analysis
For the first trail, I tested I used Hannafords brand. The first trial I popped the bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the first bag was done popping, I counted how many kernels were UN-popped. There was 56 kernels UN-popped.
For the second trial I did the same thing. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 second. Once the bag was done popping I counted the UN-popped kernels. There was 73 UN-popped kernels.
For the third trial I did the same thing. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 second. Once the bag was done popping I counted the UN-popped kernels. There was 137 UN-popped kernels.
For these trials I used Pop-Secret. The first trial I popped the bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the first bag was done popping I counted how many kernels were UN-popped. The was 76 UN-popped kernels .
For the second trial I did the same thing. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the bag was done popping I counted the UN- popped kernels. There were 176 UN-popped kernels.
For the third trial I did the same thing. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the bag was done popping I counted how many kernels were UN-popped. There was 56 UN-popped kernels.
For these last trials I used Shaws brand. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the bag was done popping I counted the UN-popped kernels. There were 296 UN-popped kernels.
For the second trial I did the same thing. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the bag was done popping I counted the UN- popped kernels. There was 105 UN-popped kernels.
For the third trial I did the same thing. I popped each bag for 2 minutes, and 30 seconds. Once the bag was done popping I counted the UN-popped kernels. There was 269 UN-popped kernels.
Conclusion
I was surprised by the results of the amount of the kernels popped. I thought that the more expensive brand, Pop Secret would pop the most kernels. However, the Hannaford brand had fewer unpopped kernels per 3.3 oz.bag.
Discussion
In my data their was some patterns, for example when I was testing Hannaford brand I got the same numbers when I tested pop secret. Yes there was a strong relationship between the independent and dependent. Some brands had more kernels popped and some didn't have that much popped. Yes, I was able to answer my experiment question. It turns out that least expensive brand of popcorn popped the most popcorn. My data did have a little problem. I had to have the amount of popcorn in each bag, I had to change some types of popcorn. My data can help people because they can see which brand of popcorn is the best, so they dot waist money. In the real world this could help people because the don't waist monney. My experiment can improve by counting all of the popcorn the was in the bag so i could get the percent of what didn't pop. It benefits to the community because people can see which brand is the best to buy popcorn.
Benefit to Community and/or Science
Yes, mine does benefit to the community because, it can show which brand was the best, which means people wont be waiting there money, on popcorn which doesn't pop that much kernels.
Abstract
Which brand of popcorn pops the most kernels? I think that the most expensive, brand of popcorn with pop the most. For background research I looked up where popcorn came from and when did it come popular. For my trials I popped each the bag and counted how many kernles did pop. To my results, hannafords brand of popcorn popped the less of kernles. I was surprised to see that one of the least expensive brand of popcorn turned out to be the best. I thought popscert would do the best, I wasnt right, hannafords brand did the best.
